How to repair Internet Explorer or remove unwanted Add-Ons

Internet Explorer 7 – Repair files or incorrect registry info

Do the following :-

Start Internet Explorer

Click “Tools” –> click “Internet Options”

Click “Advanced” tab –> click “Reset”

Click “Reset” to confirm

Click “Ok”

You may now find certain Toolbars or other website functions are not working

e.g Google Toolbar, Shockwave Flash, Java-plug-in etc.

In order to fix these :-

Start Internet Explorer

Click “Tools” –> click “Internet Options”

Click “Programs” tab –> Click “Manage add-ons”

For each add-on you need to use click the add-on then click “enable”

Click “Ok”

N.B. If you cannot see “Tools” on the menu bar press the key on your keyboard
