How often have you gone to fill up a new or hired car and driven in with the pump on the wrong side, now you won't ever do it again.

Look carefully at the petrol pump on the speedo

If the pipe and filler pump is on the left you fill the car on the left hand side, if it's on the right you fill the car on the right hand side
