Windows7 Unidentified Network Wireless

0

This happens if you connect to a network and miss or enter the wrong value on the Network Location Screen

THE POWERSHELL AUTHORITY HAS TO BE ALTERED USING SECPOL>MSC
If you have Windows 7 Home you will not be able to run this

If you have Powershell Authority try this:

Click Here to Download the PowershellScript and save to your C:\Drive

    1. Click Start

    1. type cmd

    1. type powershell

    1. PS> set-executionpolicy remotesigned

    1. Run the script

  1. PS> c:\ChangeNetwork.ps1

ALTERNATIVELY

See the fix posted here to change unidentified to Private this allows you to change the Network to Home or Work in the Network Location Screen
