With AOL make sure you have set these values in the Netgear
ADSL settings as PPPOa
VC 0,38
MTU setting to 1400
If you still have problems
Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> select AOL Connectivity
click Add/Remove -> use the repair option
Follow instructions to repair.
Once complete make sure modem is configured and switched on and
try restarting AOL.
It will search for your connection, find it and allow you to log on.
