How to get it cheaper?
1. Go to http://www.directline.com/motor/welcome.htm
2. Fill in all the details to get your quote
3. Call Direct Line 0845 835 3494
4. Select Existing Customer –> Cancellations
5. Tell them you have got a lower quote on-line and they will match it
I have just done this on both my own policy and my Wife\’s and got a total discount on the renewal price of £310.00
£170.00 on hers and £140.00 on mine
ADDITIONAL TIP: On the final Screen, if you only choose \”Third Party, Fire and Theft, check whether Comprehensive is cheaper,
on both of ours it was £30.00 less
