Create a template in Word :- Click File --> New Click Template Click Ok Now click Tools --> Macro --> Macros --> Organizer Click AutoText tab Now Click on the entries in your Normal.dot file you want to transfer Click Copy Click Close Now Save the template to your desktop or My Documents Copy this file to a CD or USB disk Load this onto the new computer Open the template Now do the same as above but copy to the Normal.dot For Word 2007 Open Windows Explorer Copy the Normal.dot template from %userprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates\ to %userprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Document Building Blocks\ In Office Word 2007, open the template Normal.dot from the new folder Save the file as AutoText.dotx.
