See if your AutoText is saved in the Building Blocks template 4. If not then Click on Each 5. Click Edit Properties 6. Click Save In --> Building Blocks.dotx Now show hidden files and folders 1. In Windows Explorer (My Computer or Documents) 2. If you cannot see the File, Edit, Tools, Help MENU then Press ALT key on the keyboard once 2. Click Tools --> Folder Options --> Click the View tab 4. Click show hidden files and folders 5. Click OK 6. C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Application Data\Microsoft\Document Building Blocks\1033 7. Copy the file "Building Blocks.dotx" by right clicking and select "Copy" 8. Now either Paste to a memory stick or to the desktop and send via email or other method to your new computer In Office 2010 1. Click Start --> Documents 2. Click on the document icon so you can see Libraries\Documents highlighted 3. Paste the following into the address bar %appdata%\Microsoft\Document Building Blocks\1033\14 4. Press Enter 5. If you can see a file called Building Blocks.dotx in this folder, right click on, it and rename it 6. Now copy the building blocks.dotx file from the previous WORD into this folder Open WORD 2013 Click Insert and your old AuoText/QuickParts should be available IP | ||||
