Change Product Key Windows 7 If you need to change the product key on a cloned drive use one of the following methods:- 1. Go into System Properties Screen 2. Click Change Product key 3. Type the Product Key 4. Click on Next (activate your windows 7) or 1. Start Command screen by typing cmd press enter 2. Type ==> slmgr.vbs -ipk [product key here] 3. now type ==> slmgr.vbs -ato Wait for the Activation Successful pop-up and click OK Also use slmgr.vbs \dlv to display License Status This is useful as the last 5 Characters of the Product key are displayed so you can compare it to the Windows Authentication label on your Computer IP | ||||
