Outlook spell check not working

When using Microsoft Outlook spell correction is not working

Checks to make:-

Windows XP – Control Panel –> Regional Languages and Settings
(Earlier Windows – Control Panel –> Keyboard)

Make sure each setting is your chosen language e.g English (UK)

In Outlook click Tools –> Options –> Spelling

Check AutoCorrect options and make sure \”Correct as you type\” is checked

Outlook 2007 and Word
If you have installed Microsoft Outlook 2007 but not Word 2007 a lot of the AutoCorrect options are disabled as Outlook 2007 always uses Word to edit messages. You have to install Word 2007 to enable these options.
