I was sure I had a trojan or spyware causing this problem, however after cleaning the PC and applying updates using a search of “Windows Update” the error still occurred.
JSP pages hang, pictures fail to display and others give page not found
I changed the MTU value in my modem/router from 1492 to 1458 (my provider is Zen)
Now all the websites work correctly
