How to test a remote control You can test a remote control using these methods:- Method 1 - If you have AM, Medium Wave radio then set the tuning off a channel and press the remote control buttons. If there is a change in sound, higher and/or lower tones the remote is working. If not check the batteries are charged and fitted correctly. Method 2 - If you have a digital camera with nightshot, wait until it's dark turn off the lights and turn the camera to nightshot. Aim it at the remote in the dark and focus then press the butoons. Look at the led light is there any change/flashing on the end of the led. This will confirm whether it is the remote control and a replacement is required, or batteries need changing IP | ||||
