Rapport IE8 AVG Trojan UPDATE: SEE REPLY FROM AVG aT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE Over the past 2 years I have seen a number of computers which have problems occur, coincidently just after the user has installed the bank security software RAPPORT The computer runs slow, AVG sometimes reports trojans and many times Internet Access using Internet Explorer 8 reports PAGE NOT FOUND for many websites I would strongly suggest caution before installing this software. The client level Rapport software has been designed to interface with a server level rapport that some companies websites use. So basically, a company will have a copy of Rapport installed on their servers and whenever a customer logs onto their website a connection is made between the server level Rapport and the client level Rapport. If there is someone trying to interfere with the secure connection the client level Rapport alerts the user.
