Just had a great support call just now with BT about the changes to their email servers
Since their recent change customers Outlook and Email stopped running.
Solutions on pc’s change the incoming server to :-
pop.outlook.com port 995
outgoing server to :-
pop.outlook.com port 587
If however you are trying to set it up on your iphone:-
1. enter your settings incorrectly at first
when it tries to connect it fails and only then will it allow you to manually change the settings
Authentication must be set to on SSL
Enter you email address and password for both incoming and outgoing so that it works on Wireless and 3G networks
