How to stop a program or software when you startup your computer
First check whether the program is in :-
C:\\Documents and Settings\\@USERNAME@\\Start Menu\\Programs\\Startup
change the @USERNAME@ for your logon name
If you can see the program then right click –> now click delete –> Delete Shortcut
Next check C:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Start Menu\\Programs\\Startup
again right click –> now click delete –> Delete Shortcut
Also check Start –> Run –> Type msconfig –> Click OK
Now click the Startup tab
If you find the program then uncheck the box
Click OK
Click Exit and Restart
